FORRES DORIS U31 is the Angus
Cow that created history for us in
many ways. Of pure Australian
genetics, Doris U31 was the cow that
first made our Angus cattle
competitive with other breeds in the
show ring winning many Interbreed
Grand Championships throughout
Queensland in the late 1970’s.
She gained widespread recognition
when she became the 1979 Brisbane
Royal Show Grand Champion Angus Cow
and heaviest British Bred cow at the
show, weighing over 700kgs. Doris
U31 produced our first viable embryo
and subsequent live ET calf in 1982,
Doris B4. |
