Raff Doris S128 retired when aged over twenty years still perfectly sound in her foot structure and shape. Her dam was the real matriarch of the Doris cow family who had a ½ interest sell in 1989 when she just a yearling heifer for $20,000. Doris S128 herself produced a number of stud sires for us, one of which was exported to Thailand, and over recent years three grandsons have been used to re-introduce the seemingly neglected trait of importance of recent times – longevity.
